About

A builder at heart.

I’m Jackson Huff, a mechanical engineering student interested in building practical systems, improving processes, and solving real problems.

Background

Engineering grounded in experience.

I study mechanical engineering at BYU-Idaho and bring experience from manufacturing environments where reliability, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement matter every day.

Working with equipment and production processes helped shape how I approach design: understand the problem, listen to the people doing the work, try a solution, and improve it through testing.

What I like building

  • Digital tools that simplify repetitive or complicated tasks.
  • Mechanical and mechatronic concepts that bridge physical systems and controls.
  • Practical workflows that make teams and projects more organized.

Why this website exists

Huff Workshop is a home for documenting the process, not just displaying final results. As projects evolve, I plan to share technical decisions, prototypes, challenges, and working demos here.
